ACT Studios is Canberra’s leader in building you that extra room in the backyard, whether it’s a home office, guest room or even a home gym. Renovations and extensions can be hugely disruptive and prohibitively expensive but building a detached studio can be achieved with less hassle and less dollars. We specialise in building studios, home offices, teenage retreats or just that extra bit of room in Canberra and surrounds. We do it all for a fixed price!

What We Believe

We believe that standard construction materials are outdated, we build our studios from structural insulated panels that are sandwiched between sleek BlueScope steel. This means a premium product that is hugely energy efficient, has high sound and thermal attenuation, and is installed in around 50% of the time (as compared to typically timber frame construction). The construction industry has a huge carbon footprint so at ACT Studios every one of our studios is 100% fully carbon offset. Act studios is proud to be fully carbon offset and believes in utilising highly quality, recyclable materials to build a better future.
